CROSFIELDS is a thriving independent prep school for boys and girls aged three to 13.
Our care extends to more than 500 children who have the opportunity to flourish in the nurturing, inspiring and stimulating environment provided here.
Set conveniently close to the M4 at junction 11 (Reading) and Wokingham, the school has 40 acres of grounds in which children can explore, learn and play. We have a very popular daily bus service which operates from Henley.
Crosfields has excellent standards of teaching and outstanding pastoral care; building confidence, giving responsibility, increasing knowledge and helping children to achieve their full potential.
There is a maximum of 20 children in each class and in years 6 to 8 children are taught by specialist teachers across the curriculum.
During these later years, we focus specifically on preparing children for life at senior school by building confidence, giving responsibility, increasing knowledge and helping them to achieve their full potential.
Many year 8 leavers gain scholarships. However, regardless of their year 9 destination, we are confident our children are given a flying start to their education, both on an academic and personal level.
At the end of the school day, children can remain at school to complete their homework or take part in our hobbies programme, which includes sports, cookery, dance, art and music.
There is no additional charge for the extended day or hobbies for years 1 to 8. Come and discover how we bring learning to life.
