This year, Queen Anne’s is celebrating another successful year of GCSE and  A-level results.
In the sixth form, 50 per cent of all  A-levels achieved were at A* or A grades (an increase of 17 per cent on last year) and 77 per cent of grades were A*to B, while 21 per cent of girls achieved straight A*/A grades. Every one of the school’s Oxbridge candidates secured their places for next year.
Exceptional results were also achieved at GCSE level with 28 per cent of all entries receiving A*, compared with the national average of 6.8 per cent. Fifty per cent of girls achieve seven or more A*/A grades.
Mandarin was introduced into the curriculum just six years ago and all eight pupils studying the subject achieved an incredible 100 per cent pass at A*. The Queen Anne’s music department has also excelled with eight pupils, aged 15, taking their IGCSE qualification a year early and all achieving A*.
