Combine fire

FIRE crews from Henley attended a combined harvester fire near Benson.

The machine and about 20 square metres of crop were destroyed in the blaze at Lonesome Farm Cottages in Crowmarsh Gifford, just before 2.30pm on Monday.

Three other crews also attended the incident and tackled the flames with foam and high-pressure hose reels while the farmer made fire breaks to stop the blaze spreading.
