World Book Day: Watlington Primary School

More than 250 children dressed up for a “character catwalk” assembly with certificates and prizes for the best costumes.

There was also a “teacher swap” staff visited another class and read children a story or extract. The children also made their own book covers and wrote book reviews with key stage two children focusing on The Jungle Book.

The events were organised by English leader Rhiannon Sharman.
