KIDMORE End Parish Council is planning to celebrate the King’s coronation.
Charles III will be crowned on Saturday, May 6 and villagers will be invited to come together for a tea party the following day.
Caroline McAslan, of the village’s Knit and Natter group, has offered to decorate the cricket pavilion in Gallowstree Common for the occasion.
Council chairwoman Caroline Aldridge said the council would need to ensure that Kidmore End Cricket Club were not playing at home that day.
