KING CHARLES made an appearance at the street party in Makins Road, Henley.
Residents wore blue and red outfits while Lynn Curtis dressed as the King, complete with homemade royal robes and a mask.
People dressed their tables and front gardens with bunting and flags and even decorated a red portable toilet.
Neighbours brought out pastries, cakes, cucumber sandwiches, snacks and drinks to enjoy.
Joyce Turner had baked gluten-free goodies for her grandchildren, Lois, Lana, Trixie and Suki, who sat together under an awning.
Gilly Hudson, one of the organisers, said: “This is our fourth street party. It started with the Queen’s diamond jubilee, then her 90th birthday, then VE Day and now this one.”
She had handed out leaflets in surrounding streets, including Blandy Road and Wootton Road, inviting people to the celebration.
