ABOUT 500 people attended the Big Bounce hosted by Peppard Primary School on Saturday.
Seventeen bouncy castles were set up in the school playing fields, including an obstacle course, giant slide and Spider-Man and Paw Patrol-themed inflatables.
There was also live music, face-painting and a bar, barbecue and ice cream.
More than £5,000 was raised at the event by the Friends of Peppard School.
Jenny Nunes, who organised the day, with fellow reception class parent Lottie Eary, said: “It was a huge success and we are all really pleased.
“The weather was lovely and it was not too hot so everyone could still bounce.
“I want to thank all the parents and the Friends of Peppard School that helped out. We had about 100 volunteers in the end.”
Headteacher Nick Steel said: “It was an incredibly successful day with perfect weather.
“It surpassed all our expectations. We were expecting about 300 people but we had about 500 or 600.
“It was amazing to see so many people coming from right across the area.
“It was fantastically organised by Jenny and Lottie and we are so grateful to have so many members of the community who are prepared to step up and fundraise for the school and create such a great day for the community.”
The event was sponsored by Soul Luna Pizza, Ice Scoop Gelato, Hot Moves, Loose Cannon Brewery, Manor Mix Concrete and Bounce ’n’ Fun.
