Man denies sex assault

A MAN from Henley has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

Matthew Eggleton, 35, of Luker Avenue, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday last week charged with one count of assault by penetration and one of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm. He denied both charges.

The offences are alleged to have taken place against the same woman on March 14, 16 and 28, 2021.

A trial date has been set for August 11 next year.
