A CIRCUS skills workshop was held at a tap room in Henley on Sunday.
James Hoye, who manages Echoes Henley in Gardiner Place, had the idea after he learned circus tricks while studying at Portsmouth University.
Mr Hoye invited two friends, Jamie Meurs and Peter Norman, who were part of the circus society at the university, to help teach the public. From noon to 6pm the trio performed on unicycles, threw juggling rings and balanced throwing clubs on their noses.
Mr Hoye said: “We have been doing this since about 2011 when we all met at the university society and then we would meet up to practise.
“It has been a long while since we did this and so today is us dabbling for the first time in a long while.
“I have got all of this kit sitting in a box in my loft and I thought might as well use it somehow. It’s an excuse to play and work at the same time.
“We are trying to get people to stop and look at what is going on here and it’s a good excuse to juggle.”
