Father Christmas arrived at Henley Sailing Club on a boat as members were finishing their annual Christmas meal at the clubhouse off Willow Lane, Wargrave.
Member Emily Fairwood said: “It’s a longstanding tradition. I’m 36 now and I remember it from when I was a child.”
Ten children and 30 adults enjoyed a full Christmas dinner of turkey, potatoes, sprouts and other vegetables, with a smoked salmon starter and mince pies for pudding.
All the members also brought a dish. Father Christmas did a few laps while waving, then moored up and came into the clubhouse to give presents to the children.
