A CARE home in Goring hosted a garden party for cyclists participating in a nationwide event.

The Grange in Grange Close invited participants in the five-day Great British Care Cycle Relay.

Cyclists, residents, staff and locals enjoyed refreshments, entertainment and ice cream at the event on Tuesday last week.

Home manager Dianne Downard said: “We’re thrilled to have been a part of this incredible initiative. It’s not just about cheering on the cyclists, it’s about celebrating the vital role that care homes play in our communities and the dedication of our care workers.”
