A MIXED art event designed to raise awareness of the climate emergency will be held at Charvil village hall on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Residents are invited to take part in a session led by artist Sam Furness who will run workshops on “The Power of Imagination, Storytelling and Creative Adventure”.

There will be a guided nature walk on capturing macro details of photos, followed by a writing workshop where people will write a statement on the photo they are most drawn to. The session will end with a portrait photography workshop.

The activities are part of Wokingham Borough Council’s partnership with Bath Spa University to raise awareness of the climate emergency through creativity.

It has been funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Entry is free. For more information and to book a place, visit tinyurl.com/2s38dwc5
