A LOG chopping competition will be held at the Black Horse pub in Checkendon on Saturday, April 5, from 1pm.

Teams of three are invited to sign up with an entry fee of £45. Competitors should supply their own axe. Log bags will be auctioned at the end of the day. To enter, call (01491) 680418.
