THIS year’s Henley Poppy Appeal will be launched tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.30am in Market Place.

Mayor Tom Buckley will receive the first poppy at 11am. Sam Brown’s Ukulele Band will provide entertainment.

Richard Pinches, who chairs the Henley and Peppard branch, said there will be fewer retail collecting points this year due to the decline of cash use.

He added there will be seven credit card machines this year.
