A popular coffee and juice bar chain has submitted plans to redecorate a unit and looks set to open in Windsor town centre.

An application for consent to display hanging signs and ‘change the shopfront colour’ has been submitted to the council by Joe and the Juice.

The Danish brand, founded in 2002, is an urban juice bar and coffee concept operating in more than 360 locations across 18 countries, according to the Joe and the Juice website.

The company offers a comprehensive menu of freshly prepared juices, shakes, sandwiches, and coffee.

Details about the new outlet at 1 Thames Street are still under wraps, but the brand’s beverages will be served from the branch outside Windsor Royal Station.

The unit is currently known as Windsor Wine and Gifts on the corner of Jubilee Arch and Thames Street.

Plans seek approval for the proposed change of colour to the existing shopfront.

The existing ‘white’ shopfront does not ‘significantly improve the surrounding aesthetic’ says the planning statement, and the proposal involves repainting it Dulux Heritage Country Sky (Blue).
