Elrington in fine form

HENLEY Golf Club held the Gray Cup, a bogey event run in conjunction with the qualification for the Cavill Statuette knock-out, last weekend.

Henry Liddell and Hugh Elrington took the honours with a score of eight up against the course.

Ron Jacobs and Steve Pirouet finished second on countback on eight up with Mark Hunter and Mike Lynskey finishing third also on eight up.

The qualifying mark for the Cavill Statuette came at four up with 32 pairs making it through to the knock-out competition.
