Kennylands duo shine

TWO members of the Sonning Common-based Kennylands Gymnastics Club competed in English Championship competitions.

Elite squad member Jessie-Mae Teeuwen competed in the Junior English Championships at the Telford International Centre where she impressed with her floor and vault routines.

The prestigious competition was the largest English Championships to date that included an Olympic qualifying event.

Meanwhile fellow elite gymnast Renai Fullick competed in the Aspire English Championships at the Telford International Centre.

Fullick, who has been hit by injuries over the last year-and-a-half, performed new skills on the bars, beam and floor before having to pull out of the event mid-way through the competition.
