AN open afternoon is to be held at Watlington and District Nursing Home next Friday (June 20).
Members of the local community are invited to drop into the Sanctuary Care home in Hill Road between 2pm and 4pm for a vintage afternoon tea with the staff and residents.
The building will be decorated with bunting and balloons and there will be live music with songs from the Forties and Fifties for people to sing along and dance to as well as garden games.
The event is part of National Care Home Open Day.
Home manager Julie Cooper said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for our residents to welcome the local community into their home.
