Hosepipe ban lifted

THE hosepipe ban has been lifted.

Thames Water imposed restrictions on water use for customers across the Thames Valley and in London in August following one of the driest years on record.

This was to help rivers and reservoirs recover their water levels.

Now recent heavy rainfall combined with decreased water usage has allowed levels to rise.
