AN Italian restaurant is set to open in Henley.

Piccolino will take over the former Crockers Henley premises in Market Place, which has been empty since closing in October 2022.

This will be the 20th restaurant to bear the Piccolino name, with other branches in Yorkshire, Surrey, Liverpool, Nottinghamshire and London.

Piccolino is part of the Individual Restaurant Group, which also owns Bank and Riva Blu.

Crockers owner Luke Garnsworthy closed his restaurant after two years, blaming financial difficulties and a lack of customers.
