NON-PROFIT groups in South Oxfordshire can apply for funding from their district councillors.

Each South Oxfordshire district councillor has £7,500 from the community grant scheme to support projects in their ward.

Groups can apply for funding ranging from £250 to £15,000 for capital projects and for revenue projects there is no maximum amount.

Previous projects that have received funding include Watlington Concert Band, which used funding to help them improve their marketing and the Henley Youth Festival.

For wards with multiple councillors, applications may be considered by all ward members together to determine funding.

The deadline for applications is noon on Friday, December 5.
