Maths, music and death-defying stunts by talented miniature ponies

Maths, music and death-defying stunts by talented miniature ponies

NEW for this year is a mini pony show which will introduce spectators to the world of equestrian performance art.

The show features Rosie Howard who will lead Rolo and Sprout, two miniature British spotted ponies born just a few days apart in May 2018 who stand just 36in and 32in tall.

They will be performing three 20-minute shows in which you will see Sprout playing the honky horn and ukulele while Rolo loves nothing more than showing his maths skills.

There will also be some fancy liberty footwork, a death-defying balancing act and a five-hoop jump with plenty of audience participation.

Rosie first became involved in equestrian vaulting in 1995 and competed for the British team until 1998 before retiring from competition in 2004. Since then she has worked in alternative equestrianism and is a vaulting coach.

Rosie launched the pony show in 2022 to combine all her skills amassed over 25 years and her act features vintage-inspired costumes, lively commentary and upbeat soundtracks.

The demonstrations will take place in the Village at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
