OLYMPIC relay runner Marilyn Okoro will visit the Robert Piggott infant and junior schools in Wargrave today (Friday).
The GB athlete, who won a bronze medal in the 4x400m women’s relay at the Beijing Games in 2008, will run a sports morning for the pupils.
The visit has been organised by Team Superschools, which organises for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to go into schools to promote healthy lifestyles.
The children will take part in an exercise circuit and assembly as well as having photographs taken with the athlete.
The event is raising money for the schools’ library and ICT project.
