PUPILS and staff at Crazies Hill Primary School dressed as characters including the Cheshire Cat, Peter Rabbit and Tigger.
The children took part in a book swap where each member of staff brought in a story and the pupils decided which one they wanted to read.
Headteacher Philippa Chan said: “The parents really supported us by sending their children to school in the most creative costumes. There were lots of Gangsta Grannies and Roald Dahl characters.
“There was also a brilliant treehouse, which is something I’ve never seen before.”
The children dressed up as their characters again for a school disco.
