New cars for carers

SUE Ryder’s palliative care hub for South Oxfordshire has been given three new Nissan Juke SUVs by Select Car Leasing, of Reading.

These will be used by the nurses who visit patients at their own homes to deliver expert care and support.

Dean Ridgeway, head of operations for Sue Ryder South East, said: “These vehicles are absolutely vital in helping us deliver expert and compassionate care to hundreds of patients in South Oxfordshire each month, ensuring we are there when it matters because no one should face death alone. We are incredibly grateful for their ongoing generous support."

Mark Tongue, founder and chief executive of Select Car Leasing, said: “Sue Ryder provides incredible care for patients and their families at some of the most challenging times in life. We’re proud to support them with three new cars and look forward to continuing our partnership in the years ahead.”
