A WOMAN died following a road traffic accident involving three cars in Ipsden.

The accident occurred on the A4074 at the junction with The Street on December 2 at 11.30am.

A blue Vauxhall Corsa was struck from behind by a silver Vauxhall Corsa. The impact caused the silver car to collide with an oncoming Volkswagen Tiguan.

The driver of the silver Corsa, aged 82, was taken to hospital but passed away at home on December 13.
