MEMBERS of Henley Canoe Club completed an indoor training session this weekend.
Henley Mayor Elizabeth Hodgkin dropped by to see the juniors, who meet regularly at the Henley Leisure Centre at Gillotts School during the winter.
Peter Holloway, manager of the Eyot Centre where the club is based, said: “When it becomes too cold for our junior members to be out on the river, we hold regular sessions here at the pool so that they can learn techniques and skills that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to teach.
“This proves invaluable for when they get back on the water in May.”
