Celebrate Organic September with True Food Co-op, Emmer Green

TRUE Food Co-op in Emmer Green is an independent, ethical, community-run, organic grocery shop.

The store sells fresh bread, loose fruit and vegetables, meat, alcohol and store cupboard essentials — all organic — as well as ethical cleaning and body care products.

It also sells zero waste organic food and household cleaning and body care refills.

True Food is a comprehensive organic supermarket with integrated zero waste shopping.

Next month, the shop will be embracing the Soil Association’s Organic September initiative. This aims to raise awareness of the incredible benefits that organic farming can bring for our climate, nature and our health. Organic is a way of farming that works with nature rather than against it, using no artificial pesticides or fertilisers.

Organic food is a positive step we can take to increase the sustainability of food production, improve animal welfare and protect the environment.

True Food is celebrating Organic September with events, offers and product sampling in store.

For more information, please visit www.truefood.coop and follow True Food Co-op on social media.

True Food is at 61 Grove Road, Emmer Green, Reading, RG4 8LJ and open 10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Parking is free.
