Speed limit to be cut

A 20MPH speed limit is set to be introduced in Kidmore End parish.

The parish council has applied to join Oxfordshire County Council’s road safety initiative to reduce the 30mph limits in towns and villages throughout the county.

The scheme relies on signposting rather than enforcement by the police.

The parish is now on a waiting list for the change to be implemented.

There will be consultation on single-track lanes where the current limits vary.
