Plan passed

THE Lewknor neighbourhood plan has been passed.

Residents voted overwhelmingly in favour of the plan in a referendum on Thursday last week.

Almost 91 per cent of people voted for the plan on a 33.5 per cent turnout.

It will now be adopted by South Oxfordshire District Council, which will have to take it into account when making planning decisions.
