Each year, with the help of our readers, we provide unrivalled coverage of the week-long festival.

To make this possible, we have teamed up with the organisers to offer a pair of tickets for a number of different author events — in exchange for a review of 250 to 300 words.

Interested parties are asked to email features editor Matthew Wilson at arts@henleystandard.co.uk. Please include your name and a daytime telephone or mobile number.

This year’s festival runs from Monday, September 26, to Sunday, October 2.

The available events are as follows:

Monday, September 26

Anna Beer, 6.30pm, Town Hall. The Oxford professor discusses over 300 years of women in classical music.

Thursday, September 29

Dazzling Debuts, 6.30pm, Town Hall. Radio 2’s Joe Haddow talk to acclaimed young novelists Alice Adams and Abir Mukherjee.

Saturday, October 1

Despite the Falling Snow, 7pm, Town Hall. A screening of a new British film, with a Q&A from its director and writer.

Sunday, October 2

Irenosen Okojie, 5pm, Hotel du Vin. The award-winning British-Nigerian writer talks short stories with Daniel Hahn.

Sunday, October 2

Jo Malone, 5pm, Christ Church. The acclaimed perfumer shares her inspiring story ahead of the release of her autobiography My Story on Thursday, October 6.

Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. (Please note that a review ticket does not include backstage or press access.)

Festival ticketholders who would like to write a review for publication are also asked to get in touch. Please mark emails “Henley Literary Festival reviews”.
