SOME 150 guests gathered at Rams RFC’s Old Bath Road home for the club’s end-of-season presentation evening.

A best-ever campaign saw the Sonning side finish as runners-up in National Division 1 — edged out by the barest of margins by champions Cambridge — while the Titans (2nd XV) finished third in Division 1 of the HALBRO Raging Bull Shield and the Centaurs (3rd XV) and Dragon’s Teeth (4th XV) won their respective leagues.

The top prize of first-team Players’ Player of the Season went to James McRae, with other winners including Axel Kalling-Smith, Henry Bird, Jak Rossiter and Max Hayman.
