SEVEN men have been sentenced for trespassing land in Britwell Salome with poaching equipment.
Oxford Magistrates’ Court heard how police were called to two 4x4s being driven across fields while shining lamps on January 7 last year.
They arrested the men and found ball bearings, a hunting lamp and a lock knife, which are all evidence of poaching, in the vehicles.
William Loveridge, 23, John-Henry Loveridge, 21, Levi Loveridge, 23, and Michael Loveridge, 31, all of Milton Close, Horton, Tommy Giles, 18, from Datchet, Alfie Chambers, 22, from Hersham, and Johnny Inman, 20, from Surrey, pleaded guilty.
William and John-Henry Loveridge and Chambers were fined £250 fined and Giles, Inman and Michael and Levi Loveridge were fined £150.
All seven were ordered to pay £200 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
Pc Ryan Dollery, of the Rural Crime Taskforce, said: “This was a result of great teamwork between response officers and the taskforce.”
