Henley MP John Howell helped launch National Golf Month at the House of Commons.
The initiative aims to inspire 100,000 new players to take up the game, particularly woemn and young people. Mr Howell said: “Golf is often seen as a men-only activity so I am delighted that National Golf Month is trying to change that.
Golf is good exercise, very social and can cost a lot less than people think. I would urge my constituents to try golf via the National Golf Month website, where there are offers from lots of Oxfordshire businesses.”
