Charity tea dance postponed

A CHARITY tea dance has been postponed due to problems with the heating system at Henley town hall.

The event which was to be held in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind was set to take place on Sunday, February 2 but will now be held on Sunday, April 13.

Organiser Shirley Borrett said "It's very disappointing, but we can't stage an event where everyone has to sit wrapped up in their coats and scarves between dances. I apologise to anyone who has purchased tickets for February 2nd. They can either claim a refund or have their ticket date converted to April 13th."
