Public notices: upcoming road closures across Maidenhead

The latest public notices in the Maidenhead Advertiser include details of a number of road closures across the borough.

Traffic

Overnight closures will be in place on a section of Monkey Island Lane later this month.

The road will be shut from its junction with Old Mill Lane in an eastern direction to the western boundary of a property known as Weir Bank Lodge.

The closures are planned from 8pm until 6am from Monday, October 20 to Saturday, October 25.

Bridge level repair works will be carried out while the road is shut.

No diversion route will be available.


A section of Holyport Road will be closed on Tuesday (Oct 7).

The road will be shut from its northern junction with the Ascot Road and its junction with Moneyrow Green.

The closure will be in place from 9am until 3pm while CCTV works are carried out nearby.

A diversion route will be available via Holyport Road and Ascot Road.


Upper Bray Road will be subject to a closure on Tuesday, October 21.

The road will be shut from a point 190 metres north from its junction with Cannon Hill Close in a northern direction for 50 metres.

The closure will be in place from 9.30am to 2.30pm while roadworks are completed.

A diversion route will be available via Upper Bray Road, Windsor Road, Braywick Road, Grenfell Place, Frascati Way, Castle Hill Roundabout, Bad Godesberg Way, St Cloud Way, Bridge Road, Oldfield Road, Bray Road, and Bray High Street.

An overnight closure is planned later this month in Cookham Rise.

A section of Maidenhead Road between Whyteladyes Lane and Lightlands Lane will be shut from 9pm on Sunday, October 19 until 5am the following day.

The closure is taking place so bridge inspection works can be carried out by Network Rail.

A diversion route will be available via Maidenhead Road, Cannondown Road, Switchback Road North, Gardner Road, Cookham Road, St Cloud Way, Bridge Road, Ray Mead Road, Lower Cookham Road, Sutton Road, Cookham High Street, The Pound and Maidenhead Road
