BRITISH Olympic rower and Henley native Jack Beaumont is offering the chance to row with his medal-winning quad to raise money for a children’s cancer charity.
Jack (pictured) is training to run the London Marathon on April 23 in aid of Chance for Childhood.
As part of his fundraising efforts, he is offering one lucky winner the chance to row with fellow Olympians Tom Barras and Harry Leask in the Team GB silver medal-winning quad, followed by dinner at the Leander Club.
The competition is open to anyone who donates £20 or more to Jack’s Just Giving fundraising page at https://tinyurl.com/2p95xbvx. The winner will be picked at random after the London Marathon.
Louise Baker from Chance for Childhood said: “As a local athlete and patron of Chance for Childhood, Jack's efforts to raise funds for the charity are truly inspiring. This is an incredible opportunity for any rowing enthusiast to experience the thrill of rowing with some of the country's top athletes and support an excellent cause at the same time.”
