Hall birthday

THE centenary of Shiplake memorial hall will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20 from 2pm at the venue.

Visitors will have the chance to explore the hall’s history and there will a display of vintage and classic vehicles from each decade of the hall’s life.

Cream teas made by the village Women’s Institute will be available at a small charge. There will also be an exhibition including the role it served in the community over the years.
