Homes appeal

A HOUSING developer has lodged appeals against three planning decisions.

Taylor Wimpey wants to develop Thames Farm between Henley and Shiplake and has asked the Planning Inspectorate to overturn the decision of South Oxfordshire District Council.

It wants to build
84 homes on the land off Reading Road, but its plans were rejected in July due to concerns over its ground stabilisation plans.

Taylor Wimpey has appealed against the decisions on plans for associated works for the site, which sits above an aquifer that supplies drinking water.
