THE Corner Shop in Lower Shiplake has applied to the planning authority to extend its retail space.

Andrew Granger, who took over the Station Road shop in April, wants to convert
31.5 sq m of accommodation at the back to provide more retail space and a café area.

He proposes the café area could accommodate up to nine customers on three tables.

South Oxfordshire District Council is set to make a decision by November 13.
