A SHOP in Stoke Row has received a low food hygiene rating.

Stoke Row Stores in Main Street, which features a coffee shop, was awarded two stars out of five as part of the national Scores on the Doors scheme. This means “some improvement” is necessary.

Environmental officers at South Oxfordshire District Council carried out the inspection on November 11 and found structural compliance required improvement.

However, its food hygiene and safety and confidence in management was “generally satisfactory”.
