Jamie Barlow managed a consolation win against Julian Telford as Sonning Common & Peppard A had to settle for fourth place in Division 1 after being beaten 9-1 by nearest rivals Kingfisher D.

The B team are safe from the drop in Division 1 despite their 8-2 loss at home to Tidmarsh A, Matt Stone and Matt Isherwood both managing singles.

In Division 2 the D team clinched top spot after a 5-5 draw with Kingfisher F, Danny Dockree and Jon Abbott both winning twice, while the C team can still join them in promotion if they can get positive results from their final two fixtures.

In Division 4 the E team clinched promotion thanks to a fine 7-3 win at Tilehurst RBL C, Jim Warren and Ian Davenport both getting maximums.

The E team will clinch the title if they can win their final match by a 7-3 margin or more against the F team.

The F team themselves beat bottom side Kingfisher J 10-0 with trebles from Gerry Bacon, Oliver Bonser and Mike Casserely. They could potentially pip the E team to promotion if they beat them 10-0 in their final match.
