Moses in fine form

THE Sonning Common and Peppard A team kept up their Reading and District Table Tennis League Division 1 title challenge with a 9-1 victory against Kingfisher C last week with Danny Moses and Ed Lush both winning all three alongside a double from Jason Roberts.

The B team could only field two players as they lost 9-1 against Kingfisher B, Tom Astle beating Cath Venning for their only win, while the C team were also defeated 9-1 as they lost to Kingfisher A, Danny Dockree beating Rishaan Sawant.

The D team put up a good fight against Tilehurst Royal British Legion A before eventually losing 6-4, Simon Berry with a maximum alongside a Brian Meheux single.

In Division 4 the F team kept pace with the leaders after beating their G team club mates 9-1, Gerry Bacon, Graeme Streets and Mike Casserley all getting trebles.
