Success for Conway

SHEPHERDS GREEN teenager Jasmine Conway won the National Tennis Centre Invitational Winter National Tour Finals for the U16 section last week.

The 14-year-old beat Iman Khan 6-2, 6-1 in the final having previously seen off Islay Thornicroft (6-1, 6-0) in the first round, Camilla Gretschel (6-3, 7-5) in the quarter-final and Jessica Dawson (6-1, 6-3) in the semi-final.

The invitational event saw the top 16 girls on the national leader board compete for the title at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton which took place over three days.
