MAPLEDURHAM Lawn Tennis Club held their annual tournament finals in cloudy weather conditions at their Caversham Heights courts.
The event started with the veterans men’s singles where John Simmons retained his title by beating Armand Kirk in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
The ladies’ and men’s singles saw Sally Foster beat Nazia Van San 6-1, 6-2 and Max Harrison retain his title by beating

6-1, 6-0.
The ladies’ and men’s doubles finalists then took to the courts with Helen Paige and Erika Kirk beating Christine Bates and Sally Foster 6-2, 6-2. Max Harrison and Huib Steenbergen beat Jon Weldon and Craig Dillon 6-1, 6-0
The day finished with the mixed doubles event where current title hodlers Fiona Roach and Huib Steenbergen defeated Gerben and Nazia Van San 7-6, 6-1.
