A SINGLE padel court could be created at Wargrave Tennis Club following a vote by members.
Sixty-eight per cent of respondents to an online survey were in favour and the results were revealed at the club’s annual meeting.
The club’s committee is now looking into it and, if approved, it would be introduced from next April. The cost to members of hiring the court would be between £10 and £20 per hour.
It is also looking at resurfacing two of its hard courts with artificial clay from next spring to increase the number of clay courts to four.
