Impressive Henley trio selected for Oxfordshire training squad

THREE Henley Tennis Club youngsters have been selected to join the U8 Oxfordshire county training squad.

Otto Sheldon, Seth Drummond and William Scott’s selection is a significant milestone in their development and reflects the players’ dedication and the hard work they’ve put into honing their skills throughout the year.

Training in Henley has presented its fair share of challenges, especially with the unpredictable weather, braving everything from rain and freezing temperatures the players have shown great perseverance. Their efforts, supported by parents and the club’s coaches, have paid off with this well-deserved recognition.

Henley’s head coach, Tom Scott, said: “This is a great achievement for the players and a proud moment for the club and coaching programme. We’re pleased to see their hard work being acknowledged and are excited about the opportunities ahead.”

The Oxfordshire County Training Squad provides a platform for talented players to further develop their abilities and compete at a higher level. Henley Tennis Club hopes this success will inspire more players in the community to take up the sport and aim high.
