THE end of Henley’s obelisk saga may now be mercifully in sight. A town council committee had come up with a recommendation for a final resting place for the monument. Meeting on Tuesday, the plans, environment and highways committee agreed to recommend to the council that the real obelisk should be sighted in Mill Meadows.
