AN appeal has been made for residents and businesses to take part in the Wargrave advent windows trail.

Each year, windows are decorated in a festive display or residents are invited to showcase a garden display with a winter or Christmas theme and families can visit specific venues from December 1 to 24.

This year, parishioners of St Mary’s Church in Station Road are taking part with a “Follow the Star” theme and they will decorate the building’s windows with stars or starry scenes.

To agree a date for a window or display, contact Patricia Vella on patricia_vella@hotmail
.com who can also provide artistic support.
