Litter drive

SOUTH Oxfordshire District Council has launched a campaign aimed at tackling litter in parks and streets, especially during the summer when more people have food and drink outside.

The council is installing banners on the theme of “Your area — bin your litter, don’t drop it” in public areas in towns including Henley.

It will be giving posters to takeaways to display and signage will be posted at public events encouraging people to report overflowing bins.
